Frugal Family Christmas

Synopsis:
Russell Wilkonson, an evil real-estate baron, wants to foreclose on every home in the neighborhood. But the Frugal family stands in the way. Frugal parents Tom and Linda have been happily cutting costs since Woodstock. Their children Preston and Amy yearn for a luxurious traditional Christmas. Join the Frugals as they celebrate the biggest consumption day of the year the only way they know how… very cheaply.

Background:
“Frugal Family Christmas” was made via e-mail across three continents. It placed in the Top 15 in the Fox-Aniboom Holiday Animation Challenge. SBIFF marks the film festival premiere for the animated short. We are currently writing a pilot with hopes of selling “The Frugals” as a TV show.
